Nevada still undefeated in conference play

The Wolf Pack pulled out a 74-68 win over Boise State to keep and undefeated conference record of now 7-0, giving Boise State only their second conference loss this season. In a back and forth game containing ten lead changes, with neither team leading by more than 7 the entire game, Nevada relied heavily on Caleb Martins 28 points along with Jordan Caroline getting his eighth double-double of the season.

Martin gave Nevada the lead late in the second half with a jumper and 3-pointer to go up 65-63. Chandler Hutchinson tied the game at 65 with a jumper but was held to just three points the rest of the game despite scoring 27 overall.

Jordan Caroline finished the game with 22 points and 13 rebounds, second only to Martins 28 points off of 11 of 22 from the field and four 3-pointers. Kendall Stephens chipped in 11 points for Nevada as well to give Nevada its 18th win and keep them undefeated in the Mountain West conference.

Boise state kept the game close thanks to Chandler Hutchinson’s 27 points. Christian Sengfelder and Alex Hobbs both contributed 12 points each and Sengfelder grabbed 10 rebounds, but it wasn’t enough to stop The Wolf Pack as they eventually lost the game at the free throw line.
