Kansas State holds off Creighton

In a 8 versus 9 matchup Friday night the Kansas State defeated Creighton 69-59 to advance to the round of 32.

Kansas State held the lead throughout the entire game lead by junior Barry Brown who had a game high 18 points. Creighton tried to fight back and did come within 2 in the second half but that’s as close as they would come. Marcus Foster struggled for Creighton only scoring 5 points and going 2-11 from the field. Kansas State shot 47.4% from 3 and shot 20 more free throws then Creighton.

Creighton finish the season 21-12. As for Kansas State they take on UMBC the first 16 seed to ever defeat a 1 seed. They will play tomorrow at
